性状

本品呈纺锤形或椭圆形，长2～3cm，直径1～1.5cm。先端钝圆，基部略尖而歪，具浅色的圆形种脐。表面棕色或暗棕色，微有光泽，具不规则的干缩皱纹。外层种皮极薄，质脆，易脱落。中层种皮较厚，黑褐色，质松易碎，遇水膨胀成海绵状。断面可见散在的树脂状小点。内层种皮可与中层种皮剥离，稍革质，内有2片肥厚胚乳，广卵形；子叶2枚，菲薄，紧贴于胚乳内侧，与胚乳等大。气微，味淡，嚼之有黏性。

检查

水分不得过16.0%（通则0832第二法）。黄曲霉毒素照真菌毒素测定法（通则2351）测定。取本品粉末（过二号筛）约5g，精密称定，加入氯化钠3g，照黄曲霉毒素测定法项下供试品的制备方法，测定，计算，即得。本品每1000g含黄曲霉毒素B1不得过5μg，含黄曲霉毒素G2、黄曲霉毒素G1、黄曲霉毒素B2和黄曲霉毒素B1的总量不得过10μg。

贮藏

置干燥处，防霉，防蛀。

鉴别

（1）取本品数粒置烧杯中，加沸水适量，放置数分钟即吸水膨胀成棕色半透明的海绵状物。（2）本品粉末棕褐色。种皮表皮细胞表面观类方形或五角形，含淡棕黄色物，垂周壁呈连珠状增厚，气孔平轴式。种皮薄壁细胞呈不规则星形，具单纹孔，有的含淡棕黄色物。腺毛较多，头部呈扇形或腺鳞状，8～20个细胞，含棕色分泌物，柄单细胞极短。内种皮栅状细胞淡黄色，表面观呈多角形，胞腔内含棕黄色物。

功能与主治

清热润肺，利咽开音，润肠通便。用于肺热声哑，干咳无痰，咽喉干痛，热结便闭，头痛目赤。

性味与归经

甘，寒。归肺、大肠经。

用法与用量

2～3枚，沸水泡服或煎服。
