We will only include randomised controlled trials.
Condition Being Studied
COVID-19.
Participant
The population included patients diagnosed with COVID-19, regardless of gender, age, race, nationality, and other characteristics.

Intervention
The patients in treatment group must have been treated with a kind of Chinese patent medicine, including Jinhua Qinggan granule, Xuebiqing injection, Lianhua Qingwen capsule/granules, Huoxiang Zhengqi dripping pills, Toujie Quwen granules, Lianhua Qingke granules, Shuanghuanglian oral liquids, Shufeng Jiedu capsule.
Comparator Control
The treatment of control group was commonly used symptomatic medication such as antiviral, anti-infective, nutritional support drugs, or no treatment was given.
Main Outcome
1. Clinical effective rate (rate of positive to negative for nucleic acid test); 2. Disappearance rate of main symptoms (including fever, fatigue, cough, etc.); 3. Occurrence rate of light or common type to severe form; 4. Mortality rate.
Outcome Measure
Additional Outcome
1. Improvement of secondary symptoms (chest pain, difficulty breathing, muscle ache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, etc); 2. Chest computed tomography (CT) imaging improvement; 3. Safety index, incidence of adverse events.
