Title
Network Meta-analysis of Chinese patent medicines for activating blood and resolving stasis in treatment of Chronic Atrophic Gastritis
Review Question
The subjects of the study were single chronic atrophic gastritis patients, aged ≥18 years. The diagnostic criteria were according to the Consensus Opinions on the diagnosis and treatment of chronic gastritis by integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. The diagnosis was confirmed as chronic atrophic gastritis by clinical signs, histopathological examination and gastroscopy. The standard of clinical efficacy should refer to the Consensus Opinion on the diagnosis and treatment of chronic gastritis by integrated traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. According to the clear diagnostic criteria and therapeutic effect judgment criteria, the experimental group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine (moluodan/Weifuchun/Jinghua Weikang capsules/compound Danshen ) combined with western medicine, while the control group was treated with western medicine consistent with the experimental group. Observation indexes :1. Clinical efficacy 2.Hp eradication rate 3. Serum inflammatory factors (IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α) 4. Gastrointestinal hormones (gastrin, motilin)5.adverse reaction The type of study was randomized controlled trial, with no restrictions on language or blinding. This study aims to treat the effectiveness and safety of Chinese patent medicines for promoting blood circulation through network meta-analysis, and to provide a basis for clinical research.
Study Type Included
The type of study was randomized controlled trial, with no restrictions on language or blinding.
Condition Being Studied
Atrophic gastritis, also known as chronic atrophic gastritis, is due to the phenomenon of local and extensive glandular reduction, atrophy and mucosal thinning in the gastric mucosa. Clinically, CAG is considered to be a kind of precancerous lesions, with a great risk of gastric cancer. With the improvement of living standard, the incidence of chronic atrophic gastritis also increases.Due to the lack of specific clinical symptoms, the recurrence rate is high, and the clinical treatment is difficult. From the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, the development of disease is a gradual process from qi to blood, and the weakness of spleen and stomach and blood stasis are its important pathological changes. Studies have shown that blood stasis runs through the whole process of disease development, and blood stasis leads to local ischemia and hypoxia, thereby promoting gland atrophy, metaplasia, hyperplasia and even malignant transformation.During blood stasis, the blood is in a significantly hyperviscous state, which affects the microcirculation perfusion and aggravates the atrophic lesions. The method of activating blood circulation and removing stasis can change the state of blood rheology, increase the local blood supply, and affect the progress of the disease.

Intervention
According to the clear diagnostic criteria and therapeutic effect judgment criteria, the experimental group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine (morodan/Weifuchun/Jinghua Weikang capsules/compound Danshen ) combined with western medicine.
Comparator Control
The control group was treated with western medicine consistent with the experimental group.
Main Outcome
Clinical efficacy;Hp eradication rate ; Serum inflammatory factors (IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α) ;Gastrointestinal hormones (gastrin, motilin);adverse reaction. Measures of effect Odds ratio (OR) was used as the efficacy statistic for count data; Measurement data were expressed as mean difference (MD) , P < 0.05 and 95% confidence interval (CI) were used as the criteria for statistical difference
Outcome Measure
Additional Outcome
No additional outcomes.
