Review Question
The PICOS of this study includes: P: Patients with rheumatoid arthritis. I: Chinese patent medicine preparations containing nux vomica, including Biqi Capsule, Tongluo kaibi tablet, Yaotongning capsule, Tongbi capsule and other varieties. C: Conventional western medicine treatment, including methotrexate, leflunomide, diclofenac sodium, etc. Conventional western medicine is used alone or in combination with multiple drugs. O: Primary outcome measures: total clinical effective rate, tender joint counts and swollen joint counts; Secondary outcome measures: morning stiffness time, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP), rheumatoid factor (RF), and the incidence of total adverse reactions. S: Randomized controlled trial

Inclusion criteria: (1) Clinical randomized controlled trials of efficacy and safety of Chinese patent medicine preparation containing nux vomica in the treatment of Patients with Rheumatoid arthritis. (2) No limits will be imposed on the gender and age of patients. (3) The language of the literature are English and Chinese. Exclusion criteria (1) Duplicated literature. (2) Studies including incomplete or incorrect data. (3) Animal experiments. (4) Review literature.
Condition Being Studied
Nux vomica is a kind of toxic traditional Chinese medicine. Its toxic components are brucine and strychnine. Clinically, it is often used in combination with other traditional Chinese medicine to treat rheumatic diseases. At present, the Chinese patent medicine containing nux vomica commonly used in clinic mainly includes Biqi Capsule, Tongluo kaibi tablet, Yaotongning capsule, Tongbi capsule and other varieties, but it is not yet clear how the efficacy and safety of this type of Chinese patent medicine preparation in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. Therefore, this study intends to use the method of network meta-analysis to evaluate the efficacy and safety of a variety of compound preparations containing nux vomica, in order to provide reference for clinical medication.

Patients diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis through established diagnostic criteria.

Intervention
Chinese patent medicine preparations containing nux vomica, including Biqi Capsule, Tongluo kaibi tablet, Yaotongning capsule, Tongbi capsule and other varieties.
Comparator Control
Conventional western medicine treatment, including methotrexate, leflunomide, diclofenac sodium, etc. The medication regimen is conventional western medicine used alone or in combination with multiple drugs.
