- Condition Being Studied
- Hot flashes as the main problem in menopause is the main condition we will study. But other health problems and diseases such as metabolic syndrome, osteoporosis and cardiovascular disorders which have been evaluated among peri and post menopausal women will be studied too.

- Any part of pomegranate (Punica granatum L.) including fruit pulp, seed, peel, etc. in any format such as juice, extract, oil, etc. but not in combination with other medicine or herb was included.
- Comparator Control
- Comparators include control (without any treatment or with considering add on treatment such as pomegranate+ exercise and control+ exercise) or placebo (lonely or in add on treatment) or other treatment. Pre-post studies without comparators also included.
- Main Outcome
- The information described here are based on our preliminary searches, therefore, we clarify that the final outcomes will only be defined after the entire screening stage has been carried out. According to preliminary searches it is predicted that main outcomes may include hotflashes, sexual hormones and metabolic parameters.

- As we considered all aspects of health as our main outcomes, no additional outcomes will be introduced.
