Intervention
Primary exposures: Total legume, total soy product. Total legume in this review is defined as beans, lentils, peanuts, peas and soybeans. Total soy product is defined as tofu or tofu product, soy milk, fermented soybean product or other soy product. Secondary exposures: Subtypes of legume intake (beans, lentils, peanuts, peas, soybeans) and soy product intake (soy milk, tofu or tofu product, fermented soybean product, others).
Comparator Control
The control group include participants have a lower intake of legumes or soy food.
Main Outcome
Incident type 2 diabetes.
