性状
本品为棕褐色带有淡黄色斑点的糊丸；味微辛、辣。
检查
应符合丸剂项下有关的各项规定（通则0108）。
注意
孕妇忌服；体虚者慎用。
贮藏
密封。
鉴别
取本品，置显微镜下观察：无节乳管存在于薄壁组织中（甘遂）。色素细胞黄棕色或红棕色，长圆形或延长成管状；草酸钙针晶成束或散在（红大戟）。种皮栅状细胞表面观细小，多角形，壁厚，侧面观类长方形，侧壁及内壁增厚（白芥子）。
功能与主治
涤痰逐饮。用于痰涎水饮停于胸膈，胸胁隐痛，咳喘痛甚，痰不易出，瘰疬，痰核。
用法与用量
用温开水或枣汤、米汤送服。一次1～3g，一日1～2次。
