- The study would be on the change in blood pressure (including changes in systolic, diastolic and mean arterial pressures) observed among normotensive and hypertensive adults due to effects of the supplementation of Spinach (Spinacia oleracea) when administered orally on any form including vegetable with meals, extract or tablet.

- Inclusion criteria- Adults (>18 years) - Healthy participants and/or patients with hypertension Exclusion criteria - pregnant individuals (as physiological changes in pregnancy and the pregnancy induced hypertension would affect outcome measures)

- The individuals who receive spinach (Spinacia oleracea) in any form including the vegetable, extract, tablet or any form of preparation administered orally.

- Healthy adults or diseased adults with hypertension who were not exposed or did not undergo the intervention - baseline, control or placebo.
