The definition of out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is the occurrence of cardiac arrest outside of the hospital. Survival after OHCA has been low despite improvements in community education, clinical guidelines and emergency medical services protocol. There has been no well-established evidence regarding the question whether adrenaline administration before the arrival to the hospital has been unclear.
