Title
Effects of vitamin D supplementation on Serum Anti-Mullerian Hormone level: systematic review and meta-analysis of interventional studies
Review Question
Does vitamin D supplementation have an effect on the serum level of anti-müllerian hormone? Does vitamin D supplementation have an effect on the serum level of anti-müllerian hormone in women with Polycystic ovary syndrome? Does vitamin D supplementation have an effect on the serum level of anti-müllerian hormone in women without Polycystic ovary syndrome?
Study Type Included
This review will consider interventional studies that measured the effect of vitamin D supplementation on serum levels of anti-müllerian hormone.
Condition Being Studied
This systematic review is focusing on effect of vitamin D supplementation on the serum level of anti-müllerian hormone.
Participant
In the present systematic review and meta-analysis, the following criteria will be considered: (1) Randomized controlled trials with either parallel or cross-over design, (2) interventional studies (3) Studies that compared AMH among subjects who were supplemented with vitamin D (or vitamin D analogs) compared to placebo group, (4) Studies that provided sufficient data on AMH at baseline and at the end of the intervention in both vitamin D and control groups to determine the difference in means with 95% confidence intervals (95% CI). We will be excluded studies if: (1) They have a non-experimental design (case studies, case series, cross-sectional, case-control, cohort and other retrospective studies); (2) We will be not able to extract the exact details about research method or results; and (3) Presented only as abstracts, , review articles, letters to the editor and editorials.

Human Disease Modelled
Intervention
The studies include an intervention to test whether vitamin D supplementation influence the serum level of anti-müllerian hormone.
Comparator Control
The studies that do test the efficacy of an intervention group with a non-intervention group or compare one intervention(except for vitamin D), are considered to be the comparator group.
