- We aim to review the use and efficacy of intralesional (IL) versus intramuscular (IM) triamcinalone in treating hidraadenitis suppurativa (HS).

- Case reports, retrospective chart reviews, randomized control trials, epidemiological studies, case series All studies must contain original data and be published in English, but there is no restriction on the type of study
- Condition Being Studied
- Hidradenitis suppurativa (HS) is a painful inflammatory disorder of follicular biology presenting with comedones, pustules, painful inflammatory nodules, abscesses, sinus tracts, and fibrotic scarring. The disease tends to manifest in the intertriginous areas of the body and presents around puberty. Although the exact pathogenesis of HS is not fully understood, androgens are believed to play a role in disease severity; however, normal sex hormone levels in most studies suggest the mechanism is end-organ hypersensitivity.

- Inclusion: - Patients with hidradenitis suppurativa Exclusion: - Patients with skin conditions other than hidradenitis suppurativa

- Inclusion: - Treatment with triamcinalone with either intramuscular or intralesional triamcinolone delivery Exclusion: - Other treatments for HS - Drug delivery methods other than intramuscular or intralesional triamcinolone

- Main Outcome
- To review the use and efficacy of IL and IM triamcinalone in the treatment of HS. Treatment efficacy can be determined by reviewing disease progression (HS PGA score, NRS pain score, inflammatory markers, followups, outcomes) and by reviewing data on patient satisfaction.
