Review Question
The effect of vitamin K supplementation on T2DM and abnormal lipid metabolism? Does vitamin K increase the risk of T2DM and hyperlipidaemia?
Study Type Included
Because our study will assess the risk of vitamin K on T2DM and hyperlipidaemia and the effect of vitamin K supplementation on x-glycaemia and lipidaemia. Therefore, all relevant studies were considered and there were no restrictions on the type of study.
Condition Being Studied
T2DM and hyperlipidemias.
Participant
inclusion criteria: vitamin K and T2DM and Hyperlipidemia exclusion criteria: patients with serious disease such as tumor.

For the evaluation of the risk of vitamin K intake on T2DM and hyperlipidaemia: intake of vitamin K (exposure); For the evaluation of the effect of vitamin K supplementation on blood glucose and lipids: vitamin K supplementation (intervention); Exclusion criteria: Subjects have previously taken vitamin K regularly; single arm study or lack of control group.
Comparator Control
For the assessment of the risk of vitamin K on T2DM and hyperlipidaemia: vitamin K intake control or vitamin K sufficiency; For evaluating the effect of vitamin K supplementation on blood glucose and lipids: placebo; Exclusion criteria: Subjects had previously taken vitamin K regularly; single-arm study or lack of control group.
Main Outcome
The risk of T2DM and hyperlipidaemia associated with vitamin K intake; the effect of vitamin K supplementation on blood glucose and blood lipids. Measures of effect For the evaluation of the risk of vitamin K intake on the development of T2DM and hyperlipidaemia: relative risk, odds ratio; For the evaluation of the effect of vitamin K supplementation on blood glucose and lipids: relevant indicator levels.
