- Inclusion: healthy adults Exclusion: an unhealthy adult (a sick adult, especially AMD)

- Intervention
- We will include all randomised controlled trials (RCTs) that compared a complex of lutein and zeaxanthin to placebo. Studies will be excluded if they did not use a placebo, used lutein and zeaxanthin in combination with other treatment, enrolled participants with disease.
