Review Question
Compare usage of radioactive iodine and survival outcomes between thyroid carcinoma with Hashimoto thyroiditis and without Hashimoto thyroiditis.
Study Type Included
The literature comparing outcomes between thyroid cancer with Hashimoto thyroiditis or without Hashimoto thyroiditis and outcomes of radioactive iodine enal tumors were included. Study patients were diagnosed with thyroid cancer. The exclusion criteria were as following: (1) non-human studies: (2) non-comparative studies: (3) studies that did not include radioactive iodine or thyroid cancer; (4) studies without available data can be extracted; (5) non-original studies (letters, reviews, editorials)
Condition Being Studied
Study patients were diagnosed with thyroid cancer with or without Hashimoto thyroiditis. Followed with RAI after thyroidectomy. The thyroid cancer with Hashimoto thyroiditis was defined as chronic lymphocytic infiltration background of thyroid cancer.
Participant
