- With the development of endoscopic technology, ERCP is widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, and postoperative pancreatitis is the most common complication. This study is conducted to explore the preventive effects of somatostatin combined with indomethacin.

- Participant: Any patient requiring ERCP Inclusion Criteria: Patients requiring ERCP for hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease Exclusion criteria: pregnant women and those with acute pancreatitis before were excluded
