This study is conducted to explore the preventive effects of somatostatin combined with indomethacin.

- Participant: Any patient requiring ERCP Inclusion Criteria: Patients requiring ERCP for hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease Exclusion criteria: pregnant women and those with acute pancreatitis before were excluded
