This study aims to determine whether the combination of somatostatin and indomethacin is better than somatostatin alone in preventing post-ERCP pancreatitis.Provide a reference for clinical guidance of medication.

Condition Being Studied
With the development of endoscopic technology, ERCP is widely used in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases, and postoperative pancreatitis is the most common complication. This study is conducted to explore the preventive effects of somatostatin combined with indomethacin.
Participant
Participant: Any patient requiring ERCP Inclusion Criteria: Patients requiring ERCP for hepatobiliary and pancreatic disease Exclusion criteria: pregnant women and those with acute pancreatitis before were excluded

Intervention
The experimental group received somatostatin and indomethacin at the same time.
Comparator Control
The control group received somatostatin therapy only.

The incidence of post-ERCP pancreatitis. Measures of effect OR(odds ratios) and 95% Confidence Interval
