- Title
- Letrozole and clomiphene versus letrozole alone for ovulation induction in women with polycystic ovary syndrome: a systematic review and meta-analysis
- Review Question
- Is letrozole and clomiphene more effective than letrozole alone for ovulation induction in women with polycystic ovary syndrome?
- Study Type Included
- Randomized controlled trials and observational studies
- Condition Being Studied
- Nearly 70% of patients with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) have anovulatory infertility. One therapeutic option is letrozole, however, its comparative efficacy and safety when compared with the association of letrozole and clomiphene citrate is unclear. Therefore, we aimed to compare letrozole and the combined use of letrozole and clomiphene citrate for ovulation induction in PCOS.
