- The diagnosis of methanol poisoning was established based on the history of alcohol ingestion reported by the patients or their relatives. The history and clinical data included the chronicity of alcohol usage, CT scan, cardiac and noncardiac comorbidities, blindness, altered level of consciousness, and death and GCSS (Glasgow Coma Score Scale) for altered level of consciousness.
