The review takes into consideration health subjects and subjects with mental disorders.
Participant
Include participants ≥18 years old with or without mental disorders. Exclusion criteria: Children or animal.

Intervention
Include studies that reported the beta carotene content of foods or the dose containing supplements or circulation levels. Exclusion criteria: there is no information on the concentration of beta carotene in the supplementation or in the blood levels.
Comparator Control
With or without supplementation and blood levels concentration.
