- Title
- Tirofiban combined with butylphthalide in the treatment of progressive cerebral infarction: a systematic review and meta-analysis of randomized controlled trials.
- Review Question
- This meta-analysis mainly explores the efficacy and safety of tirofiban combined with butylphthalide in the treatment of progressive stroke. The subjects of the study were patients with progressive stroke. The intervention group was treated with tirofiban combined with butylphthalide, and the control group was treated with conventional drugs. The data were included in the NIHSS score, daily living ability score and the number of adverse reactions after treatment. , the research method is a randomized controlled trial.
- Study Type Included
- RCT
- Condition Being Studied
- Progressive cerebral infarction is a kind of cerebral infarction with gradual aggravation of neurological function that suddenly appears within 48-72 hours after the occurrence of ischemic cerebral infarction. The main mechanism is that the progression of thrombus leads to local cerebral ischemia and hypoxic necrosis, and corresponding neurological deficits and other manifestations appear. It is relatively dangerous and is a type with poor prognosis in ischemic cerebral infarction. It is more harmful to patients and may induce neurological deficits and cause impairment of living ability. At present, there is still no good treatment plan that can effectively prevent its occurrence in the treatment of this disease.
- Participant
- Patients with a diagnosis of progressive cerebral infarction , regardless of nationality, race, sex and age.

- Human Disease Modelled
- Intervention
- Tirofiban combined with butylphthalide
- Comparator Control
- Basic treatment includes symptomatic treatment of basic diseases, nutritional support, anti-platelet aggregation, etc.
- Main Outcome
- The primary outcome indicators for this analysis were clinical effective rate, the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and the Barthel Index.Adverse drug reactions / adverse drug events (ADRs/ADEs) and number of death within the treatment and during the entire follow-up period. Measures of effect RR/MD
- Outcome Measure
