- Does addition of beta-glucan supplements to a calorie-deficient diet will enhance the impact on body weight and other anthropometric parameters?
- Study Type Included
- Randomized controlled clinical trials with either a parallel or cross-over design for a study duration no less than 4 weeks. Studies in diabetic patients will be excluded. Studies included physical activities to the trials will be excluded.
- Condition Being Studied
- Losing weight by fibre supplementation.

- All participants are included apart from children. Diabetic patients will be excluded.

- Adult participants in intervention groups that were assigned randomly to a low calorie diet consumption with addition of beta- glucan supplements, no less that 4 weeks. Looking at the interaction effect of does of beta-glucan and form of administration of the beta-glucan. The control groups include adult participants that were assigned randomly to only low calorie diet or low calorie diet with other type of fibres against beta- glucan ones.

- The control groups include adult participants that were assigned randomly to only low calorie diet or low calorie diet with other type of fibres against beta- glucan ones.

- Body weight, BMI change, waist circumference changes and body fat percentage change
