- Title
- Effect of different Atropine Concentrations for Myopia Control. A Network Meta-Analysis and Dose-Response Relationship
- Review Question
- Which concentrations of atropine are more effective in myopia control? What is the dose-response relationship between atropine and myopia?
- Study Type Included
- Inclusion criteria: Different concentrations of atropine were the main intervention. Exclusion criteria: Combination treatments of atropine and non-atropine drugs. Augmentation studies (e.g., a comparative study of two different concentrations of atropine combined with one of the concentrations of atropine.) All non-atropine treatments.
- Condition Being Studied
- Myopia, also known as short-sightedness, is a refractive error and a common cause of vision loss. It has become an increasingly serious worldwide health problem, and more and more people pay attention to myopia. The therapeutic effect of atropine on myopia has been widely studied, but the effect of different concentrations of atropine on myopia is still unclear. Therefore, this article reviews the research on the effect of different concentrations of atropine on the prevention and treatment of myopia, in order to draw conclusions that have guiding significance for clinical treatment.
