Participant
Patients with any obsessive-compulsive and related disorders (OCRD) described as above regardless of age, sex, or refractoriness of OCRD.

Glutamatergic medications: Lamotrigine Topiramate Gabapentin Memantine Amantadine Ketamine Esketamine Dextromethorphan Agmatine Minocycline N-acetylcysteine Glycine D-cycloserine Sarcosine L-carnosine Riluzole Modafinil
Comparator Control
Control: Placebo. Important observation: Patients can receive medications for OCRD, such as selective serotonin receptor inhibitors (SSRIs), clomipramine, and/or risperidone.
Main Outcome
Change in obsessive-compulsive and related disorders (OCRD) scores from baseline to the last available follow-up, measured in continuous scales including but not limited to: Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive (Y-BOCS) scale for obsessive-compulsive disorder symptoms and body dysmorphic disorder symptoms Massachusetts General Hospital Hairpulling scale for trichotillomania symptoms Massachusetts General Hospital Skin Picking scale for excoriation symptoms Saving Inventory-Revised for hoarding symptoms
