- Inclusion criteria: 1) Randomized or non-randomized trials published in a peer-reviewed journal; 2) Subjects aged 18 years or older; 3) Primary or secondary adrenal insufficiency switched from SG to MR-HC replacement; 4) Clinical outcomes (quality of life); 5. Metabolic outcome measures (anthropometric, glucose, and lipid metabolism); 6. Bone outcomes (bone mineral density); 7. Adverse events. Exclusion criteria: (1) trials involving animals or healthy human subjects; (2) retrospective studies; (3) review articles, letters, case reports, and conference proceedings; (4) articles that provided inadequate information of interest or primary data; (5) studies reporting on glucocorticoid usage for nonendocrine conditions, and endocrine conditions other than AI.
