- Review Question
- There is limited and controversial research on whether the combination of prepregnancy ethinylestradiol and acetone acetate with letrozole can improve pregnancy outcomes.We aim to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Letrozole combined with ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS) by meta-analysis.

- The inclusion criteria were RCTs published in Chinese or English. The exclusion criteria: principles, guide, case report, etc.
- Condition Being Studied
- Polycystic ovary syndrome is a common reproductive endocrine disease in women of childbearing age. The prevalence rate in China is 5.61%. At present, the etiology of polycystic ovary syndrome is unknown, the pathological mechanism is complex, and it is difficult to cure it.
- Participant
- The research subjects are patients with polycystic ovary syndrome. There was no restriction on age, severity or stage of the disease, and the diagnosis is based on professional books or literature (such as guidelines).

- The inclusion criteria were defined as follows: participants in intervention group were limited to people with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS), and treated with Letrozole plus ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate. If they were given extra treatments, that needed to be consistent with control group.

- The inclusion criteria were defined as follows: participants in control group were limited to people with polycystic ovary syndrome(PCOS), and simply treated with ethinylestradiol and cyproterone acetate.If they were given extra treatments, that needed to be consistent with control group.
