Pomegranate is one of the beneficial fruits that has been used by traditional medicine for hundreds of years and was used to treat dyslipidemia, atherosclerosis, high blood pressure, and various types of cancer, diabetes, stomach ulcers, and oral diseases. Clinical studies have been conducted on the effect of pomegranate on head and neck, prostate, breast, and colorectal cancers.
