Inclusion: Gastric Intestinal Metaplasia diagnosed by upper endsocopy, >18 y/o and reported or quantified salt intake Exclusion: Under 18 years old

We will compare patients with high vs low intake of salt and the association with gastric intestinal metaplasia
Comparator Control
Healthy adults (Without gastric intestinal metaplasia)
Main Outcome
Finding out if there is an association between salt intake and increased risk for gastric intestinal metaplasia. Meaning if the more salt you have in your diet the higher the risk. Measures of effect Odds Ratio, risk difference, mean difference
