- Randomized controlled trials, non-randomized studies of interventions, including before-after studies, Longitudinal cohort studies (prospective and retrospective), Nested case-control studies, Case-control studies and Cross-sectional studies that show the impact of Vitis Vinifera. Study designs like scoping review, systematic review, meta analysis, case studies, case reports, narrative reviews will be excluded.
- Condition Being Studied
- The systematic review aims to describe impact of Vitis vinifera intake by pregnant and lactating women on maternal and child health outcomes
- Participant
- Inclusion criteria: Pregnant and lactating women, who consume Vitis vinifera in any form. Exclusion criteria: Studies that exclusively enroll women who are lactating with non-singleton births (multiples), Studies that exclusively enroll women who are not pregnant or lactating and men and studies conducted on animals

- Intervention
- The intervention will include studies in which all forms of Vitis vinifera consumption among the population of interest. Exclusion criteria: Interventions not including Vitis vinifera.
- Comparator Control
- Studies reporting control group as no bioactive exposure/intervention, placebo control, usual care in comparison with intervention will be included. Review will also include pre and post studies on the intervention of interest including higher versus lower intake of Vitis vinifera.
- Main Outcome
- Any health outcome in pregnant and lactating women, who consumed any form of Vitis vinifera. Measures of effect Risk ratio, odds ratios, and number needed to treat analysis.
