Considering the discrepant results found in previous research, is the use of Guaraná (Paullinia cupana) truly effective against chemotherapy-induced fatigue?

Randomised Controlled Trials only
Condition Being Studied
Chemotherapy-induced fatigue as a symptom experienced by almost 90% of cancer patients.
Participant
All cancer patients 18 years of age or older that were reported to experience chemotherapy-induced fatigue that received Paullinia cupana. We will exclude pregnant women and patients that received another intervention to fatigue concomitant to the use of Paullinia cupana

Intervention
The intervention is to receive Paullinia cupana as a dietary supplement (a low cost, non-pharmacological treatment)
Comparator Control
The comparators is the non-exposure to Paullinia cupana during the trial. This could be Placebo or other dietary supplements or basic non-pharmacological instructions to try and improve fatigue.
Main Outcome
Fatigue - any specific instrument used for the evaluation of fatigue
