- How are the effects of Elemene injection as adjunctive treatment to platinum-based chemotherapy in patients with stage III/IV non-small cell lung cancer?
- Study Type Included
- All randomized controlled trials, comparing Elemene injection combined with PBC versus PBC alone, were selected and assessed for inclusion in our research. 1 Types of Participants 1.1 Inclusion criteria The subjects included in this study should meet all the criteria as below: pathological diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer; TNM staging is at stage III/IV;one or more bidimensionally measurable lesions; Karnofsky performance status (KPS) score ≥ 60; life expectancy ≥ 3 months; and suffient bone marrow, cardiac, pulmonary, hepatic, and renal function. 1.2 Exclusion criteria Diagnosis was not NSCLC; lung cancer staging was not stage III/IV, or not specified accurately; trial was not randomized controlled; inconsistent baseline data of the subjects; inappropriate outcome measures; chemotherapy regimen was not platinum-based, or not clarified; recently sufferers received any treatment of radiotherapy, surgery, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or other Chinese medicine besides Elemene injection; unavailable full-text or unextractable data.
