Review Question
Network meta-analysis was used to compare and rank the efficacy and safety of different Chinese patent drugs and antidepressants in the treatment of depression to observe which treatment is better.
Study Type Included
The language and publication form are not limited and the case control study for Chinese patent medicine or antidepressant treatment of depression.The subjects of the study were patients with depression, and specific diagnostic criteria were required to be reported.By reading literature, we can calculate the OR value and 95% CI of the relationship between different proprietary Chinese medicine and antidepressant and depression, OR the estimated value and standard error of logistic regression coefficient.
Condition Being Studied
Major deprssive disorder (MDD) is a debilitating mental disorder characterized by low mood and mood disorders.High prevalence rate, high recurrence rate and high disability rate are difficult problems in the prevention and treatment of MDD, and the lifetime prevalence rate of patients with MDD is up to 13.2%, which seriously affects the learning, life and social functions of patients .At present, there are about 350 million people suffering from depression in the world, and the incidence of depression is increasing year by year with the increase of work and life pressure. WHO predicts that it will become the second disease in the world in 2020, which will not only affect the patients themselves, but also bring unimaginable burdens to their families and even the society. And depression can cause many somatic diseases that affect normal life.

Escitalopram, Agomelatine, duloxetine, Escitalopram oxalate, Sertraline salate, fluoxetine, paroxetine, bupropion, venlafaxine, mirtazapine, ziprasidone, citalopram, Trazodone hydrochloride, ketamine, Flurperthiazide meritracine tablets, etc. Resolve depression pill, Shugan Jieyu capsule, Peripateticism pill, Jiuwei Zhen Xin Granules, Oyster soup with bupleurum and keel, Wendan tang, Liver-soothing jieyu soup, etc.
