Title
The optimization of three commonly used Chinese patent medicine in the treatment of depression of liver depression and spleen deficiency based on Bayesian network meta-analysis
Review Question
The subjects of the study were patients with depression of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency type, with no limitation of age, gender and race. The intervention measures are the most targeted, representative, the highest level and the most commonly used Chinese patent medicine for the clinical treatment of depression of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency type, Shugan Jieyu capsule or Jieyu pill or Xiaoyao Pill were used for direct treatment respectively. The control group were treated with selective 5-hydroxytryptamine reuptake inhibitor drugs, such as fluoxetine or sertraline or paroxetine were used for comparative treatment respectively. Under the condition that TCM syndromes, dosage forms and control drugs are relatively consistent, the three kinds of Chinese patent medicine have clinical comparability. The outcome indicators were clinical efficacy, HAMD and TESS. Three kinds of Chinese patent medicine have clinical comparability, but the actual efficacy and safety are lack of evidence. Therefore, we use the method of network meta analysis to integrate the clinical relevant evidence of direct and indirect comparative relationship, and make quantitative comprehensive statistical analysis and ranking on different Chinese patent medicines with the same evidence body for the treatment of the disease after summarizing, so as to obtain the clinical efficacy, HAMD and TESS scores of the three Chinese patent medicines assisted treatment, and then rank the probability according to the advantages and disadvantages of the index efficacy In order to provide reference value and evidence-based medicine evidence for clinical optimization of drug selection.
Study Type Included
Included in the randomized controlled trial, no restrictions on literacy and blindness. At the same time, the patients included in the depression of liver depression and spleen deficiency type should conform to the third edition of Chinese standard for classification and diagnosis of mental disorders (CCMD-3), the international standard for classification of diseases (ICD-10), the American manual for diagnosis and statistics of mental disorders (DSM-V), the diagnostic standard of syndrome type of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) and other diagnostic standards, such as the diagnostic efficacy standard of syndrome type of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) or the syndrome differentiation standard of TCM.
Condition Being Studied
Depression is a chronic and recurrent mental disorder. The main clinical characteristics of patients are marked and persistent depression, accompanied by chronic physical disease, cognitive impairment and functional impairment. According to the World Health Organization's global burden of disease cooperative research statistics, there are 3.22 million people suffering from depression worldwide, accounting for 4.4% of the global population, and 50% - 80% of patients experience depression Relapse, depression accounted for more than 50% of the suicide, a serious threat to human health, one of the common diseases, at the same time, mental disorders and coronary heart disease have been considered as two major global diseases. With the rapid development of modern social economy, the acceleration of life rhythm and the increase of work competition pressure, the prevalence, recurrence rate and suicide rate of the disease are increasing year by year, which not only seriously puzzles the normal life and work of patients, but also brings heavy burden to the family and society. Therefore, it is urgent to effectively improve the clinical cure rate, shorten the course of disease and reduce the side effects as the focus of research.
Participant
Randomized controlled trial (RCT), patients with single liver depression and spleen deficiency type of depression, age, gender, race. The diagnostic criteria of depression should meet the third edition of Chinese classification and diagnostic criteria of mental disorders (ccmd-3), the international standard of disease classification (icd-10) or the standard of American diagnostic and statistical manual of mental disorders (dsm-v), and the diagnostic criteria of TCM syndromes should meet the standard of diagnosis and efficacy of TCM diseases and syndromes or the standard of TCM syndrome differentiation.

Human Disease Modelled
Intervention
In the case of clear diagnosis standard, curative effect judgment standard and consistent basic treatment, Shugan Jieyu capsule or Jieyu pill or Xiaoyao Pill were used in the experimental group, and selective 5-hydroxytryptamine reuptake inhibitors (fluoxetine or sertraline or paroxetine) were used in the control group.
Comparator Control
In the control group, selective 5-hydroxytryptamine reuptake inhibitors (fluoxetine or sertraline or paroxetine) were used.
