Condition Being Studied
Chronic kidney disease ( CKD ) has the characteristics of high prevalence, low awareness, poor prognosis and high medical expenses. It is a disease that seriously endangers human health in addition to cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes and malignant tumors. In recent years, the prevalence of CKD has increased year by year. The prevalence of CKD in the global general population has reached 14.3 % . China 's cross-sectional epidemiological survey shows that the prevalence of CKD in people over 18 years old is 10.8 %. As China 's population aging and the incidence of diabetes, hypertension and other diseases increased year by year, the incidence of CKD is also rising trend.Patients with chronic kidney disease may show no obvious discomfort before CKD3, or only show atypical symptoms such as fatigue, anorexia, nocturia, low back pain, hematuria, etc. After CKD3, the above symptoms often progress rapidly, with a series of uremia symptoms such as anemia, metabolic acidosis, and hyperkalemia. Therefore, we try to evaluate the effect of traditional Chinese medicine on early chronic kidney disease in order to find a new method to delay the progression of renal function.
