- Title
- Efficacy of Qingkailing injection for community acquired pneumonia(CAP): A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
- Review Question
- Many studies have shown that Qingkailing Injection combined with antibiotics is effective in the treatment of CAP, but there is a lack of systematic review and meta-analysis.
- Study Type Included
- Inclusion Criteria (1) type: Randomized controlled trial (RCT), patients were randomly enrolled, allocation of concealment or blind method was not required. (2) Subjects: Included patients meet clear CAP diagnostic criteria and exclusion criteria. (3) Interventions: The experimental group was treated with Qingkailing Injection combined with antibiotics (unlimited types, dosage, usage and course of treatment), and the control group was treated with the same antibiotics as the experimental group. Exclusion: (1) Different reports or repeated publications of the same study. (2) Non-randomized controlled trial (3) Types of antibiotics is unclear. (4) Research on incomplete or unable to extract data.
- Condition Being Studied
- Community acquired pneumonia is a common infectious disease threatening human health. Its pathogen composition and drug resistance characteristics vary significantly in different countries and regions, and continue to change with the passage of time, and the incidence, treatment failure rate and case fatality rate show a linear upward trend with the increase of age. In recent years, with the aging of the population and the abuse of antibiotics, the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia is facing a new dilemma.
