- We will select experimental studies (randomized as well as quasi-experimental) to assess the effect of Phyllanthus Emblica on glycemic control, and will supplement these with observational studies (including cohort, case-control studies and cross-sectional analytical studies).

- Glycemic control of Phyllanthus Emblica
- Participant
- Healthy adults as well as participants with specific conditions. (eg: Diabetes Mellitus). Subsequent subgroup analyses will be done.

- Intervention
- Any intervention/ exposure including Phyllanthus Emblica as a fruit or as an ingredient ( eg: extract, tablet, part of a mixture etc.)
- Comparator Control
- Not receiving Phyllanthus Emblica or receiving another product ( eg: placebo, other plant product) will be regarded as the comparator/control.

- Change of Fasting blood sugar level. Measures of effect Mean difference

- Additional Outcome
- Change of % of participants with impaired glycemic control. Other relevant outcomes will be added following the proper literature search. Measures of effect Risk difference
