- The purpose of this meta-analysis is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of jinlida granule combined with metformin in the treatment of type 2 diabetes, and to provide clinical evidence guidance.

- We include only published randomized controlled trials, ruled out any other types of articles.
- Condition Being Studied
- The Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes (2020 edition) pointed out that for type 2 diabetes (T2DM) with deficiency of both qi and yin, on the basis of the application of hypoglycemic drugs such as metformin, Jinlida granules can be added. In recent years, the number of randomized controlled trials in Jinlida granules combination with metformin for the treatment of type 2 diabetes continues to increase, therefore, it is necessary to conduct an updated meta-analysis to provide a more accurate evidence-based basis for clinical practice.

- Participants were clearly diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, randomized controlled trials with type 2 diabetes as the primary disease to be treatedand, and the diagnostic criteria included: WHO 1999 Diagnostic Criteria and Chinese Guidelines for the Prevention and Treatment of Type 2 Diabetes (2020 Edition).
