Intervention
The trials comparing CShen-Ling-Bai-Zhu-San treatment (CMT treatment) with medicine treatment (MT treatment, including sulphasalazine, and 5-Aminosalicylic acid), and comparing Chinese herbal medicine treatment (CT treatment) with medicine treatment (MT treatment) were included. If the patients in the two groups were given the same therapies, such as acupuncture, steroids or immunosuppressives treatment, the trials were also included.
Comparator Control
Sulphasalazine, and 5-Aminosalicylic acid.
