- Review Question
- The subjects of the study were patients with single stroke depression, and the age, gender and race of the patients were not limited. The diagnosis standard of stroke refers to the guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of Chinese acute ischemic stroke (2014 version) revised by the cerebrovascular group of Neurology branch of Chinese Medical Association in 2014. The onset of stroke is in the recovery period or sequelae period, the diagnosis standard of depression refers to the classification and diagnosis standard of Chinese mental disorders (the third version). The diagnosis standard of traditional Chinese medicine refers to the diagnostic efficacy standard of traditional Chinese medicine Diagnostic criteria for stroke and depression. In the case of clear diagnosis standard, curative effect judgment standard and consistent basic treatment, the experimental group was treated with Chinese patent medicine (Shugan Jieyu capsule or Wuling capsule or Yangxue Qingnao Granule or Chaihu Shugan powder or Jieyu Anshen capsule or Xiaoyao Pill or Danzhi Xiaoyao Pill) combined with western medicine, and the control group was treated with western medicine consistent with the experimental group. The outcome indicators were ① effective rate, ② HAMD score, ③ Tess score, ④ NIHSS score. The types of study were all randomized controlled trials, and there were no restrictions on literacy and blindness.

- Condition Being Studied
- Post-stroke depression is one of the common complications of clinical cerebrovascular disease. It is commonly seen in 3-6 months after the onset of stroke. The incidence is as high as 22-75%. Patients not only have depression related emotional symptoms, but also have somatic symptoms such as autonomic nervous dysfunction. At the same time, because of the different degree of depression, patients will delay the rehabilitation of neurological function, cognitive function and limb function. The recovery time will even further aggravate the mortality and risk of accidental death of cerebrovascular disease, so it is particularly important to effectively improve the comprehensive clinical efficacy, improve the neurological function of patients, and improve the quality of life of patients.
