Study Type Included
RCT Inclusion criteria: 1) A randomized controlled trial to evaluate the efficacy of Angong Niuhuang Pill as an adjunctive treatment (ANP plus conventional treatment and conventional treatment) for post-stroke disturbance of consciousness; 2) Cerebral infarction and intracerebral hemorrhage were confirmed by CT or MRI; 3) At least the total effective rate is reported, and NIHSS, GCS and adverse events are used as the result measurement standards. Exclusion criteria: 1) Except for the treatment of Angong Niuhuang Pill, there was any difference in the intervention between the two groups; 2) Include all types of stroke patients.
Condition Being Studied
Disorders of consciousness are common in acute stroke, ranging in severity from lethargy to lethargy and coma. The study found that in the acute stage of stroke, stroke patients with consciousness disorders tend to have more severe symptoms, poor clinical prognosis and higher mortality.
