- Review Question
- To systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of traditional Chinese medicine injections combined with cis-Dichlorodiammine platinum intraperitoneal perfusion in the treatment of cancerous ascites, and to analyze the efficacy and safety of eight different traditional Chinese medicine injection assisted by intraperitoneal perfusion in the treatment of cancerous ascites, and to identify the superior varieties of traditional Chinese medicine injection intraperitoneal perfusion in the treatment of cancerous ascites.
- Study Type Included
- Clinical randomized controlled trial. In the research method, the allocation scheme of the research object is clearly mentioned as ' random ', ' control ', ' random grouping ', ' RCT ' or direct description adopts some random methods such as ' random number table method ', ' computer random number generator ', ' coin toss method ', ' dice roll method ', ' envelope method ' and ' lottery method '. Whether allocation hiding or blinding is implemented.
- Condition Being Studied
- Cancerous ascites often indicates the recurrence, metastasis or advanced stage of malignant tumors, and the prognosis is poor. How to better improve the quality of life of patients with malignant ascites remains one of the thorny issues for clinical workers. This study aims to systematically evaluate the efficacy and safety of TCM injection combined with cisplatin peritoneal perfusion in the treatment of malignant ascites, and identify the dominant varieties of TCM injection peritoneal perfusion intervention in the treatment of malignant ascites.
- Participant
- The subjects included were : 1 patients who met the diagnostic criteria of malignant ascites : all cases were diagnosed as malignant tumors by pathology, cytology or histology, and ascites was confirmed by ultrasound or other imaging studies, and tumor cells were detected in ascites ; 2 the treatment group and the control group of tumor type composition ratio, ascites classification, gender, age, race and other good balance ; 3 no other serious complications and peritoneal perfusion therapy contraindications.
- Animal
- Human Disease Modelled
- Intervention
- Intervention measures in the treatment group : on the basis of the control group, combined with the use of anti-tumor traditional Chinese medicine injection ( such as Brucea javanica oil emulsion injection, compound matrine injection, Polyporus umbellatus polysaccharide injection, lentinan injection, Aidi injection, Kangai injection, Kanglaite injection, elemene injection, etc. ) for intraperitoneal perfusion, or the comparison between the different traditional Chinese medicine injections.
- Comparator Control
- Interventions in the control group : western medicine intraperitoneal perfusion therapy and perfusion drugs for cisplatin ( DDP ) single drug.
- Main Outcome
- ①Outcome indicators : clinical total effective rate. The evaluation of clinical efficacy was mainly based on the World Health Organization ( WHO ) evaluation criteria for malignant ascites, or RECIST 1.0 ( evaluation of the efficacy of solid tumors ). The total clinical effective rate OR = ( complete remission cases CR + partial remission cases PR ) / total cases × 100 %. ②Safety outcome indicators : the incidence of adverse reactions was mainly grade I-IV myelosuppression and gastrointestinal reactions. Toxicity and side effects were determined according to the ' standard of acute and subacute toxicity of chemotherapy drugs ' formulated by WHO in 1981. Measures of effect odds ratios
- Outcome Measure
- Additional Outcome
- Secondary outcome indicators : quality of life improvement rate ; changes of T cell subsets ; AFP, CEA, CA125 tumor markers changes. The improvement of quality of life ( QOL ) was evaluated according to Karnofsky physical status score ( KPS ). The improvement rate of QOL = the number of cases whose KPS score increased by more than 10 points / the total number of cases × 100 %. Measures of effect mean difference
