Does urolithin A reduce the severity of age-related physiological changes and the incidence of disease in adults?
Study Type Included
Interventional studies independent of methodology will be included. Conference abstracts, clinical study protocols, animal experiments, reviews, editorials, letters to the editor, or book chapters will be excluded.
Condition Being Studied
The severity of age-related physiological changes and the incidence of diseases.
Participant
Participants with mean or median age of 18 years and above, without an upper age limit.
Animal
Human Disease Modelled
Intervention
The intervention includes urolithin A with no limit on dosage regimen such as dosage form, dose, dosing interval, treatment duration or route of administration.
Comparator Control
Studies with and without controls will be included.
Main Outcome
Main outcomes include data on age-related physiological changes or incidence of disease, categorized (but not exclusively) according to the physiological systems identified by the American Physiological Society.
