Participants with a mean age ≥18 y. Healthy or high-risk cardiovascular diseases population (subjects with known dyslipidemia, hyperglycemia, hypertension, overweight or obesity, or a combination of these factors) and not diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases.

Randomized controlled trials comparing ≥2 of the following intervention: cocoa or chocolate products or control group.
Comparator Control
Control group or placebo.
Main Outcome
Triglycerides, LDL cholesterol, Total cholesterol, Total cholesterol, Fasting glucose, Fasting insulin, HOMA-IR, HbA1c, Body weight, BMI, 2h-postprandial blood glucose.

C-Reactive Protein, systolic pressure, diastolic blood pressure
