- Sodium intake in relation with non-alcoholic fatty liver: A systematic review and meta-analysis of observational studies
- Review Question
- Does dietary sodium (salt) intake increase the risk of non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases?
- Study Type Included
- Cohort, case–control, and cross-sectional studies
- Condition Being Studied
- Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is the most prevalent liver disorder affecting 25.24% of the general adult population and 59.67% of diabetic patients worldwide.
