- Review Question
- Due to the pathological characteristics of lung cancer, the incidence of lung cancer is hidden and is not easy to detect in the early stage. Most patients are diagnosed in the middle and late stage, and the operation is of little significance at this time. Therefore, chemotherapy is one of the main treatments in patients with advanced lung cancer. However, due to the cytotoxicity of chemotherapeutic drugs, the prognosis of patients with lung cancer is poor, which greatly affects the quality of life of patients. Ginseng polysaccharide injection is a kind of traditional Chinese medicine preparation, which can effectively reduce the side effects caused by chemotherapy, improve immunity and the quality of life of patients. It is often used in combination with chemotherapy drugs to treat non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This study will conduct a systematic review to investigate the efficacy and safety of ginseng polysaccharide injection combined with chemotherapy in patients with NSCLC.

- Inclusion criteria: 1) this study will include randomized controlled trials (RCTs) ;2) we can extract valid data or find full text. Exclusion criteria: 1) duplicate articles or data; 2) studies such as reviews, conference abstracts, meta-analysis and comment;3) the full text cannot be obtained through various channels.
- Condition Being Studied
- Lung cancer is one of the most common malignant tumors that affect human life and health. At present, its morbidity and mortality are the leading cause of death of malignant tumors, of which 70% to 80% belong to NSCLC. Because the incidence of lung cancer is hidden, most patients have no surgical indications when they are diagnosed, so platinum-based chemotherapeutic drugs are often used in clinic. However, long-term use of these drugs can cause serious side effects, severely damage the body's immune system, and affect the patient's chemotherapy effect. In recent years, traditional Chinese medicine has an irreplaceable advantage in the treatment of NSCLC. Ginseng polysaccharide injection combined with chemotherapy can increase efficacy and reduce toxicity, and effectively improve the quality of life of patients.

- Patients who were pathologically diagnosed as NSCLC and pathological stage Ⅲ ~ Ⅳ were considered eligible for inclusion in this systematic review. There is no limit to race and gender.
