This study aims to investigate the association between phthalates and breast cancer.

Condition Being Studied
Breast cancer is the most common cancer, and one of the main causes of cancer related mortality in female.The incidence of breast cancer has been increasing in recent years.More and more evidences indicate that environmental endocrine disruptors are associated with the development of breast cancer.
Participant
The study must contain case group of breast cancer and control group without breast cancer.

Phthalate or metabolites were measured in body fluid (like urine, blood, etc.) or tissue of case group of breast cancer and control group.
Comparator Control
Effects of higher levels of phthalate or metabolites vs. that of lower levels on breast cancer risk were compared, presented as odds ratio (OR), relativerisk (RR) or hazard ratio (HR) with 95% confident interval (CI), or had extractable data to calculate the risk estimate.
