-Lung Function ( FEV) - Clinical Severity Score -Vital Sign -Side effect Measures of effect For dichotomous variables, we expressed data as risk ratio (RR)with 95% confidence intervals (CIs) and reported adverse events as risk diference (RD) together with 95% CIs. For the continuous variables 'pulmonary function' and 'clinical severity score', we reported data as mean diEerences (MD) or standardised mean diEerences (SMD) with 95% CIs.likelihood ratio
