Studies to be included: any trial on the use of limonene, or perillyl alcohol, or perillic acid, or perillaldehyde to treat human patients with cancer (any type) or precancerous lesions. Exclusion criteria: case reports; systematic reviews; studies on the use of limonene, or perillyl alcohol, perillic acid or perillaldehyde in combination with other drugs; cost-effectiveness studies; studies in vivo, in vitro or ex vivo; pharmacokinetics clinical trials; and trials in animals .
