Review Question
The main goal of this review is to provide an in-depth overview of the indications for percutaneous or chirurgical leads for spinal cord stimulation in patients with chronic spinal pain.
Study Type Included
Experimental, quasi-experimental and observational studies will be included. Studies with animals, systematic reviews, meta-analysis, conference abstracts, case reports, letters to the editor and expert opinions will be excluded.
Condition Being Studied
The indications for the type of leads for spinal cord stimulation, in patients with chronic spinal pain.
Participant
Inclusion: patients with chronic spinal pain Exclusion: patients with other pathologies, animal studies

Intervention
In this review, we will focus on lead types for spinal cord stimulation. For two different lead types, namely percutaneous or chirurgical leads, clinical indications will be collected. No dorsal root ganglion stimulation will be taken into account. Studies exploring either percutaneous or chirurgical or both lead types will be eligible.
Comparator Control

Main Outcome
