Review Question
The latest global cancer statistics show that colorectal cancer ranks third in both morbidity and mortality. The 5-year survival rate for CRC patients without lymph node metastases is 80-90%, compared with 60-68% for patients with lymph node metastases. The National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) recommends preoperative neoadjuvant therapy for lymph node-positive patients with the aim of reducing the risk of local recurrence and improving survival. Therefore, accurate preoperative assessment of lymph node metastases is crucial for making precise treatment plans and assessing patient prognosis. P: colorectal cancer patients with lymph node metastasis; E: standardized iodine concentration; C: non-metastatic lymph nodes; O: sensitivity, specificity, positive likelihood ratio, negative likelihood ratio, DOR, AUC, etc.; S: diagnostic test.
