Aluminum phosphide or rice tablet is a common pesticide used for agricultural and non-agricultural purposes in Ascian and middle east countries. It is highly toxic, cheap, and widely available. In Egypt, it is noticed that hospital admissions with ALP poisoning are increasing. The mortality rate has been determined between 30 % - 100 % in many studies
