- Study Type Included
- In vitro studies, In-vivo studies, RCT, case series, Retrospective studies, Prospective studies
- Condition Being Studied
- There are various adverse effect of both zinc oxide eugenol and calcium hydroxide iodoform paste when use as an obturating material in primary tooth. This review aims at comparative evaluation of adverse effect given by both material when use as an obturating material
- Participant
- primary teeth
- Animal
- Human Disease Modelled
- Intervention
- Adverse effect of zinc oxide eugenol
- Comparator Control
- Calcium hydroxide iodoform paste
- Main Outcome
- Adverse effects of both material clinically and radiographically Measures of effect relative risks, odds ratios, risk difference, and/or 'number needed to treat.
- Outcome Measure
- Additional Outcome
- Prognosis , long term survival of primary teeth , uneventful exfoliation of endo treated primary tooth and eruption of succedaneous tooth Measures of effect We will use risk ratio (RR) or odds ratio (OR) with 95 percent confidence interval (CI) for dichotomous outcomes. We will use mean difference (MD) or standardized mean difference (SMD) with 95 percent CI for continuous outcomes.
